Appendix B: Bot Privacy Policy

It's important to know your data is used by the bot and what is stored as you interact with it. The only data stored within the bot's architecture is the User ID. The bot doesn't store any details of a chat, only requests made to it and only temporarily.

What information does the bot collect?

The bot collects the following information about a user, only when a user interacts with it:

  • User ID

How is this information used?

This information is stored to collect the number of overall requests to the bot. The bot offers a free trial, which allows a limited number of uses. Once exhausted, the bot remembers the user ID to prevent further use of the bot.

Can I delete my information?

The bot only saves the User ID, a publically accessible string of numbers. This information is not personally identifiable and required for the usage and safety of the platform.

How is payment privacy handled?

The bot accepts payments via PayPal or Stripe. These payments are handled according to the Yurika Corporation Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The bot does not store any payment information. The bot only stores the User ID, a publically accessible string of numbers. This information is not personally identifiable.

Your payment information is handled by the payment processor chosen (default is PayPal). Information regarding your payment details are strictly maintained by the payment processing platform and in accordance with their terms of service and privacy policy. Information such as your Name, Address, Phone Number and Email Address may be passed along with the payment.

The email address is used to send you a receipt of your purchase and send you updates regarding the platform, which you can opt out of and unsubscribe.

Does the bot log the chat?

The bot does not log the chat. The bot only stores the User ID, a publically accessible string of numbers. This information is not personally identifiable.

What information is stored?

Requests made to the bot are stored in a temporary log console for debugging purposes. This log is not stored permanently. The bot can store requests made to it for debugging, moderation or other purposes. These requests would be stored with information tied to a User ID on the platform the bot resides within. This information is not personally identifiable and used for the operational and safety purposes of the bot.
